Bethany Strickland
Hired as the Better Hometown Blackshear Manager with the City of Blackshear Main Street Program in 2017. Strickland’s previous work included sales and print production for Syndistar Inc.in New Orleans, LA and real estate sales for First Management Inc in Knoxville, TN. Additionally, Strickland has maintained the self-appointed Chief Operations Officer title for the Strickland Family, where she performs a myriad of duties, to include: mother, taxi driver, logistics coordinator, supervisor of household sanitation, chef, former PTO president, and Vacation Bible School Director, to name a few.
As the Better Hometown Blackshear Manager, Strickland reestablished the Main Street program by integrating new events and creating a passion within the community to continue to improve Blackshear.
